Picking & Fermentation Workshop:
Get your hands in the mix with this joyful, hands-on fermentation workshop led by Sam Paone of Golden State Pickle Works. In this immersive session, guests will learn the art and science of vegetable fermentation — from selecting seasonal produce to packing the perfect jar. Rooted in tradition but tailored for today’s home kitchen, this workshop celebrates slow food, gut health, and the simple pleasure of transforming farm-fresh ingredients into living, probiotic-rich ferments. Guests leave with new skills, a jar of their own creation, and a deeper connection to the food they eat. Perfect for curious cooks, wellness seekers, or anyone wanting a delicious, nourishing way to connect with the land.
Candle Making Class:
Learn the timeless art of candle making at Cassidy Ranch. Surrounded by open fields, fresh air, and the gentle sounds of nature, you’ll craft your own hand-poured candles using natural soy wax, essential oils, and dried botanicals grown right here on the farm. Learn the basics of candle making, from wicks to wax, including how to blend custom scents and tips for safe pouring and curing. You'll leave with your own candle and custom scent to take home.
Soap Making Workshop:
Join us for a hands-on Soap Making Workshop where nature meets creativity! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to make your own nourishing soaps using natural ingredients, including herbs, flowers, and essential oils—many of which are grown right here on the farm.
Beekeeping Basics:
Ever wondered what it takes to keep bees? Join us at the farm for an engaging and hands-on Beekeeping Class where you’ll get up close and personal with one of nature’s most fascinating creatures: the honeybee. Led by an experienced beekeeper, this beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of backyard beekeeping—from understanding hive dynamics to harvesting honey.
